Rising India Research Foundation Honoured for Excellence in Psycho-Oncology Clinical Care at NCPO-2025

We are proud to announce that Dr. Tahreen Syed, representing the Rising India Research Foundation, has been awarded for her Significant Individual Contribution to Psycho-Oncology Clinical Care at the National Conference on Psychotherapeutic Assessments and Interventions in Psycho-Oncology (NCPO-2025).

The prestigious conference was held from 3rd to 5th January 2025 at AIIMS, New Delhi, jointly organized by the Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS – New Delhi, and the We Avec U Foundation.

This award was conferred in recognition of the Foundation’s dedicated efforts in pioneering psycho-oncological interventions and integrating emotional care into cancer treatment protocols. Through clinical services, caregiver support initiatives, research, and training, Rising India has been at the forefront of transforming cancer care into a more holistic, compassionate, and inclusive model.

Under the leadership of Dr. Tahreen Syed, Director and Global Head for Psycho-Oncology, the Foundation has created impactful models of integrative care, expanded psycho-oncology education across India and the UAE, and reached hundreds of lives through structured interventions and community outreach.
